Private Art Classes with Glenn Tunstull
Starting May 16th through July 18th
Study art and painting in the pastoral settings of the Hudson Valley, with internationally known artist, Glenn Tunstull. He brings his extensive international experience as an artist and fashion illustrator, plus 15 years of teaching at prestigious art schools in New York.. The group or private lessons are for artists who want to develop their abilities as artists, illustrators, fashion designers, graphic designers and art instructors. The courses provide tranquility by working in harmonious settings using creative concepts. Develop your drawing and painting skills and take them to the next level through projects designed to improve your unique abilities. All levels of expertise are welcomed from Junior High School students to experienced artists. You will achieve a portfolio of images that can be used for presentations, including for art school and college admissions. Mentoring in these areas of focus will be provided. Training includes the care and handling of materials.
COURSE OFFERINGS
Fashion Drawing: How to draw and paint the human body from photos, life and the imagination to illustrate design concepts. May 16 to June 3.
Watercolors: How to paint in different techniques using watercolors. June 6 to June 24
Oil Paints: How to paint in different techniques using oil paints. June 27 to July 18
TUITION
*Mid and High School Student Group Sessions $30 for two hour periods. 6 two hour sessions for $150.
*Adult Group Sessions $55 for two hour sessions. 6 two hour sessions for $270.
*Individual Private Sessions for adults are $65 per hour. Individually determined schedule..
First lesson is FREE with commitment to six sessions. For a free review and critique of your work, please submit three samples of your work by email as a preliminary option. Work in the studio workspace of the artist or in your own space through internet instruction. Costs of materials not included.
EXPERIENCE
Fine artist with over 12 years of professional oil and watercolor painting and experience exhibiting and selling work throughout the U.S. Also as a Fashion Illustrator working over twenty years with for some of the most well known houses, retailers, manufactures and magazines in the US and Europe. Art Instructor with over fifteen years of the teaching at the top art schools in New York, including Parsons, The New School of Design, Fashion Institute of Technology, Pratt Institute and Marist College.
